Onboarding Fabrics into a Multi-Cluster Fabric Group
Add Existing Fabrics:
Link your current fabrics as child fabrics to the parent Multi-Cluster Fabric Group.
Centralized Configuration:
After onboarding, all new Tenant Overlay VRFs (Layer 3 Virtual Networks, L3VNIs) and Networks (Layer 2 Virtual Networks, L2VNIs) will be created directly from the parent fabric.
Step 1 - Add Child Fabrics: Site1
The next steps will guide you in adding your fabrics into your Multi-Cluster Fabric Group
Click the Multi-Cluster Fabric Group name ltrdcn2654
Click Inventory
Click Action and select Add Child Fabric.
Click Site1 and then Select.
Click Ok in the warning popup that informs that you must perform a Recalulate and Deploy.
Step 2 - Add Site2 Fabric
The second fabric you want to select and import is your Site2 fabric. Locate Site2 in the list of fabrics and notice
the fabric list has shorted since Site1 was previously selected.
Click Action and select Add Child Fabric.
Click Site2 and then Select.
Click Ok in the warning popup that informs that you must perform a Recalulate and Deploy.
Step 3 - Add ISN Fabric
The last fabric you want to select and import is your ISN fabric. Locate ISN in the list of fabrics.
Click Action and select Add Child Fabric.
Click ISN and then Select.
Click Ok in the warning popup that informs that you must perform a Recalulate and Deploy.
Step 4 - Review Added Child Fabrics
Ensure your Site1, Site2, and ISN fabrics are displayed under Child Fabrics.
Click Overview
In your updated Overview dashboard, note that you have three (3) fabrics .
