Device Credentials Setup — Second Cluster

Configure device credentials on nd22-2 using the same streamlined workflow. This consistency across clusters demonstrates ND's scalability — one intuitive process for all sites.

Having completed RBAC configuration for nd22-2, you'll now apply the same credential setup. This enables the second cluster to manage its own set of fabric devices independently.

Step 1 - Navigate to Device Credentials

  1. Click Manage
  2. Click Device Credentials


  3. Click Set

Step 2 - Configure Credentials

Configure the same admin credentials for this cluster. The workflow is identical to ND1, demonstrating ND's consistent operational model.

  1. Username: admin
  2. Password: cisco.123
  3. Keep Robot unchecked
  4. Click Save

Step 3 - Confirm and Verify

  1. In the success confirmation popup, click Ok



  2. Verify that Default Credentials shows Default Set

Cluster 2 Ready!

The second Nexus Dashboard cluster is now configured with device credentials and ready to manage its fabric devices.
